Each language is located in a separate module. There are 7 language modules: English, German, French, Latvian, Polish, Russian and Ukrainian.

As far as Pragma is based on module principle there is a possibility to choose the necessary language modules and combining them into the required translation directions.

It is necessary to take into account some feature of organization of the system. Russian is a basic connective language almost for all translating directions. It means that during translation, for instance, from Latvian to Ukrainian the presence of Russian module is necessary.

An exception is made for Polish. Taking into account the grammatical similarity of the Polish and Ukrainian languages, a basic connective language for Polish is Ukrainian. Therefore, if the Polish module is chosen the Ukrainian module is also employed.

Updating the program takes into account these features automatically.

Provided with the included dictionaries a user can fill up and edit his/her personal dictionaries. User dictionaries have the highest priority in translation; this allows correcting the meaning of translated words and expressions.
